Assalamualaikum! Jumpa lagi yep. Alhamdulillah. Alkisahnya, Uda adik beradik nasyeed club saya ajak join fasi untuk satu program ni. Lama sungguh tak jadi fasi. Tapi kali ni program tentang solat. Lantas berangkat la kami bersama Najmi, Acik dan Diba. Sebenarnya dah plan modul macam2, in the end we were told that the program wanted to focus more on solat. So memang game duit syiling je sempat main. Anak emas, Big Boss, Moon Sun tu tak sempat sobsob. Dengan peserta yang dijangka hanya tiga puluh tapi rupanya jadi lapan puluh, dengan adik2 lelaki pulak yang mencecah enam puluh orang. Fuuh. Memang hingaq surau kata orang Kedah. Haha.
Ada benda yang perlu bantuan, kami bantu. Ada Kuliah maghrib, ustaz situ bagi. Malam lepas isyak yang start ice breaking semua. Memang habis lambat, sebab amali solat pun mula jam 11 pm. Itu pun rasa tak puas sebab hanya sempat suruh leader demo solat memasing. Sedih =(
Malam tu, adik2 Ya Allah, bising taktahu nak kata camna. Sampaikan Acik n Diba tak tido langsung. Memule saya cuba tidur, takdapat, then pasang instumental dari Solo Piano Diary, pun takdapat, last2 dengar Quran, lena sikit, itupun banyak kali jaga sebab adik2 lelaki berlari, baling apa barang pun tak diketahui, sembang jangan cakap lah, yang pasti memang macam pasar. Aduhaii, sekolah rendah sampai sekolah menengah pesertanya. Tapi tak silap abang2 yang banyak bising sebab jumpa member kan, bila lagi nak begini. Hehs. Dalam 330 am saya dikejutkan oleh Diba. Hihi. Memang suara rock habis sebab tak cukup tidur kan. Haha. Basuh2 muka bla3, qiamullail, solat subuh, kuliah subuh. Kuliah tu Maulana Mohd Ali b. Yusof yang sampaikan. Tentang solat juga, tapi seriously seronokkkkk.. MashaAllah taktau nak cakap camne. Cuba jugak untuk tahan mata dari pejam. Most of the time I was awake tapi ade jugak yang takdapat tangkap point2 yang disampaikan sebab lena beberapa saat. Hihi.
Haaa, aktiviti lepas kuliah ni yang paling besttttt, I loike sejuta lemon. Senaman!!! Uncle Nik Hazim tak silap nama cikgu ni. Stretching seperti seorang jurulatih. Because at last I knew he took Sains Sukan. No wonder la kan, and he teaches taekwondo at that residence. Tabik Spring tuan! Waktu memula beliau suruh buat stretching semua, I had that thought that this person must be an expert in his field. Memang kalau boleh nak sign la kan. Lepastu ucapan pengerusi surau, Prof. Dr. Hj. Jamaludin b. Mohamed, saying thanks to everyone and all. Then penyampaian sijil.
At that time, I went at the back, went out of the surau and approached this uncle Nik Hazim who sat at the other side of the musolla, near the boys. I asked about those exercises, and one problem that I have had since last week that is pain in my knees and ankles. The reason Im resting from exercise for almost a week. I told him about my BP Lab blood test, where everything was normal except for this one thing, an element in our blood which when I checked, it has relation with joints. Arthritis? Hmm. Because the BP Lab doctor that I consulted also did not know why this element in my blood being at a high level, very abnormal. He said I need to undergo further treatment but maybe later I said, when I have more money hehehe. Ok back to Uncle Nik, I said I played squash last Wednesday and during cooling down, I think I overdosed the routines.
So he said this, warming up and cooling down is not the same. Totally different. We might do the same routines and tasks, but the length is different. You do more in warming up and do less in cooling down. If you count 8 in warming up, you count 4 in cooling down. Also in cooling down, you only do the routines as 'syarat', no force. Maybe because the body was just working, cannot be aggressive to the body. Fuh, now I know where my mistake is. He even do some demo of those exercises that can damage your knees. He stood, bend knees and all that. What a good teacher kan, sedangkan I'm just merely random people, not even his student. I said I thought that the pain was due to calcium? (Well, women and osteoporosis is common). But then he said, it was because the immediate/recent exercise that I did. Ok sir, roger that.. Huwaa
So the right position when you use your legs to warming up / cooling down is that, your knee cannot be beyond your toes. Let's say you bend your right knee, bend to the front or right side, that bend cannot be beyond your right toes. If it's beyond, means you have exceeded the limit. And it's not good. That's what I did last time. I guess my knees had been burdened too much. Hmm. So cikgu said I should not stop, I do some light exercise, like sit, bending your body until your hand can reach your toes, but not by force. I just nodded and nodded and smiled. Hehe. And cikgu said that joints are not muscles. There are difference between those two. For exercise, we concentrate on the muscles, which we have on our face, fingers, hands (not elbow, elbow is joint), and calves. Betis. Memang biasa kalau jogging kita stretching bahagian betis. Wuhuu. So many new knowledge. Forgot to record the conversation, if not I will listen back to it and smiling alone. Haha.
So that's the story today. Alhamdulillah for this opportunity. Thanks Uda for inviting me. Thanks Allah for this fate that I spent my holiday here hehehe. Thanks muchos to the committees, ustaz Hafiz, Prof Jamaludin, Aunty Kalsum, for the very kind amenities and hospitality. Of course the food was awesome! (Sumaiyah never says no to food. Lol) Now I wanna eat some of the doughnuts they gave us before we went home (UIA). Need to eat less to not be overweight which will affect my knees burden. Hikhik.
